The Ministry Dinner coming Thursday April 28 is now officially CAMP COD! 6:30 – 8:30pm on the Back Porch.
It’s going to be a memorable time on the Back Porch at COD, eating some delicious food at camp tables set by our camp leaders! We’ll all enjoy the great outdoors together for a couple of hours, spotting fireflies at sunset. And yes, there will be s’mores! Things to remember:
RSVP to us at this email address soon as you can if you haven’t already (20 of you have), so we can prep.
Wear camp clothing! However that looks for you.
Cost is 10./person! Drop your cash or check (made payable to Church of the Open Door) in the bucket as you walk in. Come around the Worship Center to the back porch or up the driveway in the back.
Hope to see you all there! Thanks for serving in this joyful ministry.
We presented our values as a ministry moving into the next year, and decade, on Sunday morning Nov 8 – they’re attached here for you to read and share with others. Thanks to all of you for making this ministry unique and special and strong!
COD Worship Ministry Values 2015
We have gotten RSVPs from many of you already – thanks!! Some of you have not yet. Your RSVP means we can get excited about having you there and plan ahead so that you can eat what you’d like! Also helps us know and prepare. So if you haven’t done it yet, email email@example.com and say you’ll be there (or not coming, sadly) right away! The Focus is this Sunday September 27 after services, in the worship center.
Your choices of sandwich are Grilled Chicken, Turkey, Roast Beef or Tomato Mozzarella, all from Corner Bakery.
We’re making arrangements now to host our Youth Group’s fave worship band, For All Seasons, from Hume Lake this month on March 29! They will lead us in worship in both Contemporary services the weekend before Easter. They’ll be playing at APU the night before, and joining us in the morning. Welcome them and make them feel a part of our worship community for that morning – drop by the Prep Room and say hello!
I hope that many of you can join us in our Legacy Choir as we begin the 2105 season this month! Thursday Jan 15 at 7pm in our worship center we rehearse for Sunday the 18th, singing about the foundation of the Word of God!
Click HERE for more information about Legacy Choir and to get a pdf of the 2015 rehearsal/Sunday outline.
RSVP to Tom at firstname.lastname@example.org with your intention to sing!
